Introduction Hello and welcome. I founded The Rose & The Star out of a deep desire to build a grounded, creative sanctuary for women walking the esoteric path in New York's Capital District.
 

For too long, serious esoteric study has either been an isolating, solitary endeavor or confined to rigid, male-dominated spaces. My aim with this fellowship is simple: to create a warm hearth where disciplined Western Hermeticism, Thelemic philosophy, and genuine sisterhood meet. Here, high scholarship doesn’t live in an ivory tower—it sits around a craft table, over a cup of coffee, and in everyday conversation.
 

The Approach to the Work:
 

• Living the Law: I approach Thelema not as dogma, but as a living, practical framework for sovereignty, personal integrity, and everyday life.

• The Hermetic Arts: Creative expression—whether painting, talismanic crafting, or textile art—is an active meditation. The hands ground what the intellect studies.

• Scholarship & Friendship: True fellowship requires both intellectual curiosity and emotional safety. We read foundational texts, explore Kabbalah and Tarot, and respect each sister’s unique orbit without competition or hierarchy.
